The Anthology Global Client Experience Content Development team is focused on building and executing the curriculum development projects for online teaching. As Instructional Designer, you will support the building and execution of the curriculum development project. 

Primary responsibilities will include: 

• Designing and developing instructional programs for online teaching 
• Using multi-media tools to develop highly engaging courses  
• Analyzing client needs and identifying course design solutions that align to these needs
• Applying instructional design principals and methodologies for better learning experience 
• Working with cross functional teams to scope requirements and objectives and deliver projects 
• Owning accountability for the quality of all deliverables 
• Becoming an expert and a resource for the project team on all related content 
• This role requires occasional travel 

The Candidate 

Required skills/qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Instructional Design, Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, Adult Education and Curriculum Design) or equivalent experience 
• Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience 
• Professional experience designing and developing instructional materials
• Professional experience designing and developing online courses utilizing rich media and accessible from mobile devices
• Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Captivate, Camtasia, or similar content development tools
• Exceptional writing skills and ability to master technical content 
• Ability to apply adult learning principles to course design  
• Experience serving in a client-facing role 

Preferred skills/qualifications:  

• Demonstrated proficiency with SCORM, HTML5, Web 2.0, Universal Design, and/or ADA/Section508
• Experience collaborating with Graphic Artists and Creative Developers 
• Demonstrated ability to develop content that provokes engagement
• Experience working with learning management systems 
• Experience building online communities, social learning
