The Event Coordinator is a key member of the Events team and significantly contributes to the success of all Anthology events. This individual will partner with key stakeholders to assist with the planning and logistics of all event-related experiences and will aim to create meaningful, impactful events that expand brand awareness, foster market and industry relations, increase revenue and cultivate brand loyalty.

 

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating corporate events and tradeshows, facilitating execution of logistical tasks related to sponsorship, registration, booth property and materials
  • Tracking deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely execution of event preparations
  • Managing show purchases while working within allocated event budgets
  • Immediately resolving time-sensitive needs during off-site events, through communication with team members, event representatives and vendors
  • Building relationships with tradeshow vendors and acting as liaison on show services and shipping requests
  • Communicating event and trade show information to key stakeholders. Organizing planning and debrief meetings
  • Analyzing post event ROI. Working with Marketing team on reporting results
  • Working within a team structure to ensure all responsibilities are met with the highest quality and attention to detail
  • This role requires 10-20% travel

 

 

The Candidate: 

Required skills/qualifications: 

  • Prior relevant internship experience or 1-2 years of prior relevant professional experience
  • Ability to work some evenings and occasional weekends, especially during peak conference season
  • Strong organizational and project management skills; a natural “coordinator” mentality
  • Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively
  • Results-driven, with a high degree of motivation
  • Ability to problem solve independently 
  • Very strong communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Technologically savvy and adaptability
  • Ability to work collaboratively with strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional level of dependability

 

 

Preferred skills/qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or Communication
  • 2-3 years of prior relevant professional experience
  • 2+ years managing events
