We do this through a broad set of capabilities that improve student engagement, student satisfaction, and outcomes. Our Marketing and Enrollment division within our Student Success organization is looking for a knowledgeable, results-oriented Senior Marketing Operations Manager to join our client-facing marketing delivery team and work directly with our Higher Education partners as well as with internal stakeholders. We’re focused on helping our clients navigate digital marketing and recruit students confidently by making data-driven decisions that address the big challenges facing their institutions today.

 

The Senior Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for driving performance across marketing services clients by managing processes to monitor and improve digital marketing performance and marketing strategies for Anthology’s Higher Education clients. They will monitor performance for ongoing clients and collaborate in the development of a strategy to launch new clients and improve results with other marketing leaders. Through analysis and reporting on strategic KPIs, the Senior Marketing Operations Manager will shape effective strategies to attract and engage clients’ target audiences and to convert marketing interest into leads and, ultimately, enrollments. This role will be responsible for overseeing any technology platforms or resources that will impact and improve the delivery of marketing services including marketing automation tools, creative asset, and performance management, as well as reporting and data analytics tools. They will also have their pulse on current marketing trends that drive engagement and high performance as well as trends in higher education and will use these findings to collaborate with the marketing team to develop highly effective marketing assets and optimize campaigns.

 

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Determining and overseeing marketing automation strategy and approach for marketing and enrollment clients
  • Collaborating across marketing and enrollment teams to discuss current client performance for lead generation and enrollment and troubleshoot issues
  • Partnering with lead generation and enrollment leads to monitor media performance through ramp up period for all launching clients to ensure partnership success and drive early results
  • Establishing and maintaining testing plan and approach across marketing campaigns driving performance outcomes that have a positive impact within client campaigns and with the portfolio as a whole
  • Driving performance for existing clients by working with internal teams to launch action plans and drive paid media improvement
  • Providing channel and audience research support to identify unique and innovative pathways for reaching program specific audiences
  • Supporting the development of strategic marketing plans for clients by providing channel insights for media and creative teams to incorporate into strategy
  • Streamlining data, reporting and analysis for Marketing and Enrollment by supporting the development of reporting templates in Anthology’s BI tool, PowerBI, by ensuring proper data utilization to standardize reporting across clients
  • Developing processes and templates to support marketing team in strategy planning, reporting and client business reviews
  • Developing and overseeing training for processes and tools needed to drive effective marketing services as well as supporting the onboarding of new marketing team members 
  • Supporting new sales growth initiatives by providing market research and industry expertise and support the development of case studies
  • Improving client retention by incorporating a proactive media and testing strategy
  • Supporting the development of benchmarking data to utilize across clients and develop a process to update and share that data

 

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Marketing with a specific skillset in paid media management
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console
  • Experience working with HTML/CSS and CMS tools
  • Must have experience working with multiple clients or stakeholders simultaneously
  • Ability to work with higher level leadership teams
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills
