As a Senior Software Engineer in Test, you’ll focus on providing support for test development and execution against Anthology's new feature and legacy system releases. 

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating technically with architects and product designers, contributing to the overall architectural vision of cloud service infrastructure in support of Anthology’s Student initiatives
• Creating test designs, test processes, test cases and test data
• Finalizing and documenting testing procedures
• Developing manual and automating tests for software validation
• Testing and proving that the software meets major architectural requirements
• Proving for scalability and performance of a software
• Ensuring the quality of the system as a whole
• Detecting high quality bugs and helping developers with reproducing whenever needed
• Evaluating the bug fixes with additional testing on impacted areas
• Ensuring ZERO functional defect leakage to the production
• Presenting test reports to management and suggesting software fixes
• Collaborating in a cross-functional agile team to solve challenging technical problems with innovative solutions

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 3 years of experience with testing on web applications
• Proven work experience as a software test engineer on various types of testing on both front-end and back-end technologies, which includes but not-limited to functional, usability, compatibility, load, performance, and security testing
• Strong automation skills on Python, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills 
• Hands-on experience in any of the Test Automation frameworks like Selenium
• Experience participating in agile and fast-paced software development methodologies like XP or Scrum 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience with testing on web applications
• Knowledge of Azure
• Experience in GIT version control (for automation scripts)
• Knowledge in front end frameworks such as Angular or React
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
