We are building up a new group within Anthology focused on the data platform. This team’s mission is to bring data together from across Anthology’s extensive product lines into our cloud-based data lake. We are the analytics and data experts at Anthology. Our team enables other development teams to utilize the data lake strategically and effectively for a variety of Anthology products. We deliver products and services for analytics, data science, business intelligence, and reporting. 

 

 

As a member of our Product Development team, you’ll work in an agile environment delivering industry-leading SaaS products and web service platforms. As Senior Manager, Software Engineering, you will work closely with the QA, User Experience, Architecture, and Product Management teams to solve a wide variety of technical challenges and to deliver Anthology's new feature and original system releases, all the while advocating for, evangelizing, and implementing engineering best practices across the team and organization. You will work and coordinate with other team leads on cross-team projects to ensure dependencies are identified, understood, and managed.  
  


The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications: 

  • Significant experience in cloud software development 
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and written & oral communication skills 
  • Proven track record of building, managing, and growing high performing teams providing education or enterprise SaaS 
  • Considerable experience with platform development and data services
  • Experience with current database and data warehousing technologies like Snowflake, Redshift, ADLS, ADF
  • A working understanding of software engineering best practices and Agile methods 
  • Experience working with product management at a senior management level 
  • Experience with large consumer-facing applications

 

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Any experience in the education sector or with cloud applications
  • Experience with attracting, acquiring, and retaining technical talent

We have an office in one of the biggest cultural, economic, and educational centers in South India: Chennai.

  • Located on OMR, the IT corridor of South Chennai
