We are seeking someone with the ability to lead and collaborate on large, complex, cross-functional projects. You would add additional value to the role by having knowledge and experience in both project management and agile practices, especially experience in championing both disciplines and leading teams through change. This individual should be comfortable managing through ambiguity, adapting to emerging guidance and direction, and offering recommendations to help shape the team they are a part of.

 

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and collaborating on large, cross-functional projects and process improvement efforts
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects at various stages of implementation and ensuring that projects have the appropriate support to be successful
  • Leveraging a lean-agile, data-driven mindset to influence parties within and outside the organization regarding policies, practices, and procedures
  • Championing effective project management and agile practices designed to enable teams to succeed and to advance our organization’s maturity and business agility 
  • Communicating effectively around project details and processes within and outside the organization
  • Prioritizing and driving projects to conclusion based upon business priorities
  • Managing projects through the project management lifecycle 
  • Identifying and managing cross-team project dependencies and helping teams mitigate risks in schedule and scope
  • Advancing and achieving outcomes through leadership, collaboration, and a willingness to listen and learn
  • Visualizing and reporting project status and metrics to senior and executive leadership

 

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • More than 5 years working in a program/project management role managing multiple concurrent large-scale projects
  • Experience working through the project management lifecycle
  • Experience and comfort with defining project scope and identifying and tracking dependencies
  • Ability to identify and solve problems with minimal guidance and limited resources
  • Ability to establish strong relationships within the organization to achieve results
  • Capability to collaborate with cross-functional, globally distributed teams and stakeholders to establish and secure a reliable and productive working relationship
  • Comfort presenting to stakeholders at all levels of the organization including technical experts, business owners and executive level staff
  • Experience building reports and dashboards in PowerBI
  • Capability to adapt in evolving and changing environments 
  • Desire to build relationships and influence others through integrity and trust
