Anthology is looking for a qualified candidate to assist our Cloud Services team, which is responsible for delivering high availability Software-as-a-Service solutions to our customer base. The candidate will work in a support environment and infrastructure management. The ideal candidate should be able to perform first level troubleshooting of environmental issues within the Cloud infrastructure.

 

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Being an active part of the cloud services team
  • Monitoring VMs performance and availability, database services, email services, etc. and taking appropriate corrective action in response to alerts and events as they occur
  • Following standard operating procedures and carrying out initial triage to fix the issue
  • Monitoring alarms, alerts, logging incidents, escalating incidents to technical teams and following up until fixed
  • Ensuring alerts are logged and dispatched while meeting contracted service levels
  • Working under supervision of a manager and within defined guidelines and procedures
  • Collaborating with the clients and/or other members of the team
  • Undertaking duties relating to the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the specialized server-based systems

 

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • 0-1 years of relevant experience in Systems Management/Application Support/Infrastructure Monitoring and Management/CRM product support
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Basic knowledge of Operating systems (Windows & Unix)
  • Basic knowledge of Servers (Windows & Unix), Database (SQL, MS SQL), Virtualization
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals trained/certified
  • Desire to learn and develop new technical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with guidance from senior staff members to escalate issues to the technical teams
  • Team player with attitude to learn
  • Optimistic
  • High integrity and accountability
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle critical issues in a large-scale enterprise environment and determine the best course of action for escalations
  • Organized to plan work and follow a plan accurately
  • Ability to gain expertise in diverse technology areas
  • Willingness to work in shifts including night shifts
  • Willingness to work 5 days per week including potential weekends

 

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • BE in IT or Any degree with technology with Wintel aspirations
