As Senior Software Engineer in Test, you will create and maintain automation frameworks and testing tools. You will develop the test strategy for features, incorporating the right balance of unit tests, integration/API tests, and UI tests. You’ll design, implement, and maintain complex testing environments, performing all aspects of verification including functional, regression, load, and system testing as well as documentation. You’ll work in a scrum team focused on building functionality for Anthology applications.

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Developing robust application frameworks
• Working with the development teams to understand their QA processes, identify gaps, and suggest the best approach to bridge the gaps
• Developing tools/applications for Process Automation and implementing Automated Dashboards of Metrics & Measures, etc.

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5-8 years of overall experience in QA Automation for web applications
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as JUnit and TestNG
• Good experience working with Source Code Management Tools (preferably Git)
• Proficiency with Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• A technical understanding of database configuration and ability to write complex SQL queries
• Experience with one or more scripting languages like shell or bash
• Experience with REST APIs, JavaScript, XML, JSON
• Proficiency with build environments like Jenkins and Docker

Preferred skills/qualifications:

• Experience working in Agile teams
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
