The Technical Account Consultant provides escalated support for Anthology’s

products.  Technical Account Consultants (TACs) are assigned specific customer account(s) to provide consulting and guidance, provide solutions while escalating priority issues, and serve as technical liaison across Anthology departments.  More than a technical point of contact, a CMC TAC is a personal advocate working on clients’ behalf to help with issues as they arise as well as escalating and driving the resolution of incidents that do occur.  Focus on partnering with customers by maintaining a relationship and clearly understanding their technical challenges and providing ad-hoc troubleshooting & solutions. This includes, preparing weekly status reports, managing daily calls and meetings, and disseminating information internally to the Anthology management and stakeholders.  The TAC must demonstrate analytical troubleshooting skills and be proactive, self-starting, professional, quality-focused, and committed to being highly engaged with clients. Working under the advisement of Technical Account Managers, TACs continue to support and maintain effective policies and procedures to ensure a stable workflow environment.

 

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Serving as secondary technical contact
  • Troubleshooting technical problems and answering general support questions for our various Anthology’s products
  • Consulting with customers on technical issues and recommending sound solutions
  • Ability to solve unexpected complex issues to maintain operational efficiency
  • Providing feedback to the Support and Development teams on issues pertaining to each product
  • Performing on-call duties during holidays, nights, and weekends as needed

 

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CIS, or related field preferred
  • MCTS / MCITP in SQL Server Administration or SQL Server Development or equivalent preferred
  • Seasoned developer with over 5 years of professional development
  • Ability to develop, modify, and debug complex T-SQL programming
  • Proficient in Software, Microsoft SQL Server & Profiler, REST APIs troubleshooting
  • Experience and demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a deadline-driven high pressure environment
  • Able to determine the root cause and resolve complex problems
  • Able to provide analytical troubleshooting for various product-type issues
  • Able to adapt quickly to working with new technologies

 

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Anthology’s products including
  • 3 - 5 years experience with Microsoft T-SQL programming
  • Experienced writing reports in SSRS.  PowerBI a Plus.
  • Experienced with Microsoft SQL Server Administration including but not limited to database optimization and index tuning, Stored Procedures debugging, SQL Profiling, Backups/Restores etc
  • Experience with working with oData and Rest APIs including but not limited to debugging and troubleshooting to identify root cause issues
  • Experience with Windows Server, including Active Directory, IIS, SQL Clustering, etc
