As a Senior Security Project Manager for Anthology’s Information Security team, you will lead, track, and manage a broad portfolio of initiatives within the Security organization. You will work with support teams and leadership to ensure alignment, transparency, and consistency across teams. You will monitor the projects for risk and proactively engage teams in mitigation of those risks. You must be a forward thinker who can assess situations, recommend solutions, and drive positive change across an organization. 
 


Specific responsibilities will include: 

  • Coordinating and tracking complex projects spanning multiple geographically distributed teams 
  • Managing cross-team project dependencies and helping teams mitigate risks in schedule and scope 
  • Managing dashboards and reports to enhance organizational insight into the status of projects 
  • Assisting in the management of our security knowledge base, used to manage RFP responses
  • Assisting with responses to RFP requests
  • Leading complex process improvement projects across a cross-functional Product Development organization 
  • Developing and conducting training on key organizational process changes that you have delivered 
  • Creating, measuring, and reporting on key performance metrics
  • Coordinating with external stakeholders in parts of the company outside of security, to ensure alignment of priorities with business goals 

 


The Candidate: 

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Strong technical, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Strong writing ability with a focus on communication of technical topics
  • An understanding of and enthusiasm for Agile 
  • Combined light Agile and Technical Project Management experience 
  • An understanding of full SDLC processes 
  • Proven success as a hands-on manager of complex projects with significant organizational, process, and technical components 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Light organizational change management experience 
  • Ability to build relationships and motivate others through demonstrated integrity, trust, and humility 
  • Ability to influence and motivate diverse teams through writing, interpersonal, and presentation skills 
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent projects with attention to detail 
  • Proven experience driving results in a matrixed, cross-functional, multi-team environment with geographically distributed teams 
  • Ability to consolidate complex information to provide meaningful communication to stakeholders at all levels and fluidly adjust style to work effectively with individuals at any level of seniority, from technical experts to business leaders 

 

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • 4 or more years of project management experience
  • Knowledgeable in managing projects supporting information security systems
  • Understanding of fundamentals for engineering cloud-based information security systems   
  • Experience with managing projects related to cloud-based services and systems   
  • Understanding of Azure and AWS cloud systems including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS platforms
