The Marketing Specialist will support the success of Anthology clients by managing digital marketing campaigns and engagement marketing programs. This includes planning, executing, and reviewing campaigns and programs for clients to ensure that they are meeting goals and targets. The Marketing Specialist will closely collaborate with Global Markets, Product Management, Regional Marketing, Product Marketing, and other key departments on the strategy and creation of related marketing materials for client campaigns and programs including collateral, newsletters, webinars, email communications, and community site content. In this role, you will support the Anthology team’s ongoing growth and retention objectives and will closely coordinate activities to align with the overarching Client Success Marketing strategy.

Specific responsibilities may include:

• Developing client marketing and engagement programs to support Anthology’s strategic retention and growth opportunities
• Identifying new opportunities to help foster deeper client engagement
• Producing engaging content, including case studies and client success stories, that can be leveraged in ongoing campaigns
• Collaborating and aligning with Product Marketing and Product Management to ensure consistent messaging in the marketplace and partnering with internal creative resources on client communications
• Supporting email nurture campaigns for upsell/cross-sell efforts
• Working within Anthology’s CRM of record to assist with lead management and database list creation
• Working with colleagues on a reference program and similar types of client recognition programs
• Delivering client programs focused on adoption and/or migration
• Monitoring, measuring, and reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns and making recommendations for future programs
• Reviewing and editing marketing assets and campaigns created by client success marketing team members including email campaigns, webinar abstracts, presentation decks, and web content
• Assisting with other marketing services as required

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

• Minimum of one year of marketing experience, preferably client marketing 
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
• Experience planning, executing, and delivering Marketing Campaigns
• Experience in any of the following: email marketing, CRM strategy and marketing, marketing data analytics or product adoption programs
• Experience creating presentations to articulate strategy and performance
• Understanding of or desire to learn data-driven marketing practices
• Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects with aggressive deadlines across multiple teams
• Ability to excel and drive results in a dynamics, cross-functional environment
• Self-motivated, innovative, collaborative, ability to multitask, and creative
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong writer with editing experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred skills/qualifications:

• Previous event experience
• 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in client marketing
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business
  
• Background or interest in higher education or education technology
• Experience managing marketing automation campaigns and working with Salesforce for lead routing, tracking, and reporting
• Experience using project management software
• Experience in high-tech, software, and/or education solutions businesses
