The Project Manager will be responsible for implementing Talisma Digital Platform at customer location(s). This includes ensuring projects are completed on-time, within budget, and within client expectations for quality and functionality. This person will also manage client acceptance of the solution and client expectations in line with the agreed statement of work, in addition to managing the day-to-day relationships with client stakeholders and resolution of all issues. This person will also maintain and communicate project status to all stakeholders in reports and status meetings.

 

 

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring, and directing project(s) or implementing a solution meeting agreed client requirements. The Project Manager requires excellent written and good spoken English skills. The Project Manager will manage or oversee multiple projects.

 

 

The Project Manager will execute the projects based on the Statement of Work signed between the company and the customer. These responsibilities include working with Sales, Support, Product Management and Engineering teams to deliver the project(s).

 

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Being the single owner and point of accountability for end-to-end delivery of the assigned business project, ensuring effective planning and execution of all project lifecycle activities including (but not limited to) project plan creation and maintenance, requirements gathering, solution definition, systems integration, risks and issues management, testing, production handover, resource utilization/time management, business change activities, stakeholder management, and project communications
  • Ensuring successful (on time, on budget) delivery of assigned projects through coordination with all involved parties including business stakeholders, other IT and Anthology departments
  • Performing a continuous assessment of risks and issues on assigned business projects and addressing/mitigating them to minimize impact, ensure solutions are delivered within the agreed parameters, and achieve the agreed benefits. Addressing major showstoppers, risks, and issues through timely and accurate reporting and senior management engagement
  • Ensuring solution testing follows a methodical approach and is coordinated with all relevant parties to ensure it is performed at all appropriate stages of the project and is conducted comprehensively, and that testing results are properly approved
  • Providing fair, accurate, and timely feedback to management on the performance of resources assigned to the project. Effectively managing, coaching, utilizing, and supporting assigned project resources to deliver to the best of their ability on time, budget, and scope
  • Contributing to the improvement of the delivery practices, procedures, methodologies, and tools through identification of and participation in improvement initiatives
  • Defining project scope, estimating time, cost, and resource requirements
  • Planning project according to Anthology Project Management Methodology and adherence to Quality Standards such as ISO 9001 & CMMI
  • Assessing project risk, developing risk mitigation strategies, and supporting the sales team in developing contracts and project pricing

 

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Well versed with MS Project, MS Excel, Power Point and Word
  • 8-12 years’ experience in project delivery, with a minimum 2 years’ experience in managing projects or programs end-to-end using industry standard project/program management methodologies
  • Highly competent in project risk and issues identification, mitigation (risks only) and management; and reliable status reporting
  • Experience working with Microsoft technologies
  • Experience in product implementation
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Proven ability to interact with project stakeholders
  • Experience in facilitation and meeting management
  • Proven experience influencing others
  • Strong conflict management and negotiation skills
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Can-do attitude 

 

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • B.E. or MBA (with IT Background) or MCA 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Experience in BFSI domain(s) 
  • Experience in CRM product implementation
