The Business Analyst will work closely with customers to understand their business model and requirements and translate them into software requirements documents, which would then be used by design, development, and QA teams for preparing solutions.

Primary responsibilities will include:

Customer

• Analyzing business needs, eliciting, and documenting requirements
• Internally reviewing with peers and team members of the project
• Reviewing with stakeholders and achieving agreement on requirements
• Achieving consensus on business needs, usability, performance, and feasibility
• For the internal customers being supported:
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge and learning
  • Proliferating offerings to sales team
  • Advising QA and Development teams on troubleshooting analysis

Process

• Following standard documentation processes, focusing on objectives of customer, development, and QA
• Developing artifacts through case studies, white papers, and lessons learned
• Feasibility analysis on prospective business
• Supporting project planning and status reporting
• Reviewing of documents

People

• Sharing of knowledge and learning among peers

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

• Graduation in science/engineering, with 5-7 years of IT experience and 3-5 years of domain experience
• Certifications in Business Analyst domain such as CBAP, BABOK etc.
• Knowledge of technology
• Domain expertise
• Analytical skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
