In this role, you will join a motivated, creative, and energetic team that works in a flexible and agile fashion to deliver world-class products to the education market. By joining this team, you will become a core contributing member to Anthology’s EdTech Platform initiative. This future state platform will seamlessly and uniquely deliver a revolutionized learning experience through innovation, continuous delivery, and architectural integration.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work in a SAFe Agile environment to deliver and build the next generation EdTech platform. You will be developing and maintaining micro-services that provide the foundation for teaching and learning core capabilities and features.
A successful candidate must be comfortable with complex software development projects and be an innovative thinker capable of communicating multi-faceted technical concepts. As a direct contributor, the candidate must have a track record of achieving goals and meeting deadlines on multi-team projects, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving requirements. In addition to developing software, the ideal candidate can troubleshoot problems and support our production environments.
We are looking for a candidate with strong backend skills and with a willingness to expand and grow their skillset. This engineer will be working in a serverless environment on the AWS platform and should have a strong desire to learn as technologies evolve.
