Anthology Enterprise Applications Development is focused on the development and support of all corporate business applications at Anthology. As the Manager of Salesforce Development team within Enterprise Applications Development, this person will be a hands-on team lead responsible for Salesforce development, CI/CD, and unit testing activities associated with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ and Commerce Cloud, and Experience cloud for various Anthology lines of business.


This Manager will play an integral role in the success of the  group by ensuring consistency and repeatability in how the applications are delivered and managed across the enterprise.  


Primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing technical and/or functional teams to design, build, test, and implement enterprise applications. Anticipating, raising, and resolving issues which pose risk to the project. Monitoring progress and quality. Tracking and reporting status
  • Interfacing with other applications/teams like Vertex, Kantata, Azure integrations, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.
  • Leading Agile planning and stand-up calls
  • Maintaining user story and bug tickets
  • Managing and delivering projects related to Salesforce development
  • Performing the role of mentor and coach to help others achieve their career objectives. Actively participating in recruiting and onboarding activities
  • Working with the Business, Architecture, and other IT stakeholders as needed on providing technical solutions and guidance 



The Candidate: 

Required skills/qualifications: 

  • At least 10 years of experience developing directly on Salesforce/force.com products using APEX, Visualforce, and SOQL on Sales Cloud, Service Cloud
  • Demonstrated experience with UI Customization, REST & SOAP API
  • Salesforce Developer Certification
  • Experience working with custom objects and workflow on the Lightning experience
  • Experience leading small teams
  • Clear and articulate oral/written communication skills
  • Self-motivated to prioritize and execute tasks with time-sensitive deadlines
  • Strong team and customer service orientation



Preferred skills/qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years of experience developing directly on Salesforce CPQ and B2B Commerce Cloud
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist Certification
  • Salesforce B2B Administrator Accreditation
  • Experience working with offshore/remote Agile teams, leveraging Azure DevOps (ADO) for user story and bug tracking
  • Experience with GitHub and Continuous Integration using Jenkins
  • Force.com experience, including Eclipse Plug-in or similar
  • Prior experience building technical artifacts including Salesforce configuration design, technical design
  • Prior experience on Java or .NET, C# development
