Reporting to the Sr. Director of International Marketing, the Events Manager is responsible for supporting the development of high-quality educational programs for Anthology’s regional user conferences. Working with cross-functional teams, the Events Manager will focus on delivering high-impact events.

 

 

This position is key in driving engagement, collaboration, and management across a matrixed organization, external vendors, customers, leadership, and peer-level staff to maximize event outcomes that support multiple goals and objectives.
 

 

Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to a broad project management role to liaise between field marketing, global events and third-party vendors so that there is awareness of key show items such as messaging, sponsorship information, registration, fulfillment items
  • Aligning with and supporting regional marketing liaisons in planning and coordinating event plans to achieve new sales and product/solution renewal efforts
  • Coordinating, managing, and creating content for pre- and post-event communications plans together with the Field marketing and demand generation marketing teams
  • Coordinating required assets to support show execution (working with our design team/vendors on collateral, ad materials, etc.)
  • Supporting program and speaker coordination (collect speakers and presentations information pre-event)
  • Maintaining website content with updated information relevant to the event
  • Providing logistical event management support before and during the event, as needed

 

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 5-7 years in marketing, tradeshows, event marketing or related event management experience
  • Experience in high-tech, software and/or educations solutions businesses
  • Experience working with tradeshow and marketing vendors to produce exhibit programs
  • Proven cross-department management skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical capabilities
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel internationally as required

 

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • 5 or more years specifically managing tradeshow logistics
  • Ability to manage >US $100K budgets 
  • Experience communicating with senior business management and summarizing event objectives and activities
