 As Scrum Master, you will be responsible for guiding the team to be self-organizing and to use Agile/Scrum practices to realize its commitments. You will build and sustain an environment that supports the Agile Manifesto and principles. You will support the team by removing impediments and facilitating its work. You will also assist with internal and external communication by promoting transparency and information transparency. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting Product Owners with backlog grooming. 

The Candidate: 

Required skills/qualifications:

• Experience serving as scrum master on 1 or 2 scrum teams exhibiting average scrum maturity 
• Experience working with a Product Owner to understand the product roadmap priorities, and schedules, to guide the scrum teams 
• Experience ensuring teams maintain focus on quality and continuous delivery of business value 
• Experience helping teams anticipate impediments and recommending solutions to remove impediments 
• Ability to utilize team feedback, and analyze and design metrics (quality, delivery rate, velocity) to identify areas where efficiency can be improved
• Knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Kanban, XP, FDD, etc.) 
• Light experience with Agile practices of user stories, TDD, integration, and automated testing 
• Strong mentor and communicator 
• General software development experience 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

• Scrum Master Certification

We have an office in one of the biggest cultural, economic, and educational centers in South India: Chennai. 

• Located on OMR, the IT corridor of South Chennai
