Anthology’s Student Development team focuses on using both industry standards and cutting-edge technologies to develop innovative solutions that are essential to our user’s success. As a Technical Staff Engineer on this team, you will play an integral role in the success of the Student Development team within Anthology. A successful candidate will be able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and implement software solutions. 

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Being part of the multiple releases of the product
• Acting as sounding board for all design/technical discussion
• Understanding business and functional needs, translating them to actionable technical components, and providing high-level design

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience as a Technical Architect/Development Architect/Technical Manager
• Product development experience, including experience being part of multiple releases of a product
• Experience designing/architecting highly scalable/performant products
• Ability to design reusable components/code
• Ability to take deliver highly supportable and maintainable product (code)
• Ability to influence people at all levels including senior management to individual resources
• Ability to work in a changing, fast-paced environment
• Experience with and passion for driving the technical resources for delivering the products, keeping in mind nonfunctional requirements (NFR)

Preferred skills/qualifications:

• Experience in Cloud Architected product, specifically in MS Azure
