The Senior Manager, Content Strategy is a key member of the Online Program Experience Enrollment Marketing team. This role plays a significant part in bringing the Anthology university clients prospect communication to life to drive brand awareness and lead generation through content marketing.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Developing comprehensive cross-platform editorial plans for top-of-funnel thought leadership content that supports brand awareness while also fueling bottom-of-funnel demand generation campaigns using keyword research and SEO tactics
• Providing editorial, creative, and technical support to team members
  Conducting industry research and partnering with client subject matter experts to develop white papers, eBooks, infographics, blogs, social media posts, and more that align with marketing program themes and objectives
• Copywriting, editing, and proofreading short and long-form content
• Monitoring content performance to report on and adjust strategy based on key performance indicators
• Managing client blogs and blog posts, prioritizing SEO alongside delivering key messages for the university and program goals
• Managing the full content lifecycle to support brand awareness and lead generation for university client programs including researching, planning, creating, promoting, repurposing, and refreshing content

The Candidate: 

Required skills/qualifications: 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2 level or above
• At least 7 years of experience in a marketing agency or similar communications role
• Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, English or related field 
• Strong writing and editing skills and the ability to drive high quality content on short deadlines
• Experience with social media management including how to build a following
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multiple stakeholders across the organization
• Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices

Preferred skills/qualifications: 

• Prior experience working in a corporate environment, preferably with a technology or education focus
• Prior experience developing B2C content strategies
• Creativity and the ability to develop original content
• Ability to develop content that provokes engagement
• Strong leadership qualities with a proactive working style
