Primary responsibilities will include:
- Anthology product installation/upgrades
- Troubleshooting and fixing system related issues
- Troubleshooting and fixing post upgrade system and application issues
- Working with DevOps team to automate product deployment
- Coordinating with Development and Product teams to build sustainable and scalable cloud deployment model for Anthology applications build
- Deploying Nexus suite of products on on-prem, hosted, and Azure
- Creating customer-based checklists to create upgrade manual tweak history
- Process compliance
- Ensuring all deployment changes are documented and reviewed/certified
- Quality Compliance
- Customer information reviewed/corrected in the respective tools
- Customer upgrade requests are reviewed and updated to the latest patch version of the request
- Working under supervision of a manager and within defined guidelines and procedures
- Collaborating with customers and/or other members of the team
The Candidate:
Required skills/qualifications:
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in Azure administration
- Experience with Microsoft Azure pipeline and deployments
- Knowledge of cloud solutions (Azure)
- Experience with Cloud deployments
- Good understanding or experience in Azure Fundamentals like Azure Active Directory, Virtual Machine management and Enterprise app integration
- Background in automation deployments and working with Azure DevOps pipelines (CD/CI)
- MS Windows 2019/2022 and SQL Server basic DBA skills
- Ability to handle basic SQL DBA activities like backup, restore, and managing securities
- Experience installing, configuring IIS 7.0 and administration
- Experience manually creating websites and application pools in IIS
- Ability to work collaboratively with guidance from senior staff members to escalate issues to the technical teams
- Team player with attitude to learn
- Ability to handle critical issues in a large-scale enterprise environment and determine the best course of action for escalations
- Organized to plan work and follow a plan accurately
- Ability to gain expertise in diverse technology areas
- Willingness to work in shifts including night shifts
- Willingness to work 5 days per week including potential weekends
- Experience with system performance troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong teamwork, knowledge sharing within team, and strong customer focus
- Good analytical, critical-reasoning, problem-solving skills, and troubleshooting skills as applied to complex business-technology subject areas
- Fluency in written and spoken English
