Anthology’s Global Professional Services team supports clients in the effective implementation of our products to support online teaching and learning, ensure successful adoption of our products, and maximize the educational returns on the client's investment. We provide clients with consulting services which include defining requirements and business rules, facilitate application strategy sessions, draft specifications, identify implementation strategies and product use cases, provide product training, provide instructional design, and course design services and lead the process that delivers our client systems to the production state.  This position supports the delivery of Learning Technology Planning, product training, and Genius implementation for our Business Government clients.

 

 

A successful candidate will have experience working with educational technologies in a higher education, business, and/or governmental capacity.  The candidate will have experience working with learning management systems as an instructor, instructional designer, or system administrator.

 

 

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing client needs and identifying products and services that aligns to these needs
  • Identifying gaps in client skills, processes, or infrastructure
  • Developing client-specific implementation project plans and timelines
  • Developing and presenting at meetings with prospects, which will include executive level customer sponsors and Collaborate senior leadership
  • Identifying customer risks, implementing risk mitigation plans, and communicating to senior leadership
  • Partnering with Sales, Marketing and Product Development to create comprehensive customer solutions
  • Identifying unique requirements for large and strategic accounts and coordinate with other departments to ensure successful delivery
  • Monitoring, tracking, and reporting project status and performance
  • Conducting meetings with client sponsors and stakeholders
  • Creating and delivering implementation reports
  • Managing a portfolio of clients that include strategic, consortia and complex clients
  • Delivering onsite and remote Learn product and best practices training
  • Delivering onsite and remote Genius training and support
  • This role requires approximately 50% travel

 

 

The Candidate:

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in a related field (e.g. education, information technology, business) or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years’ consulting experience, with experience consulting to educational institutions, business, or government entities
  • Proven experience successfully implementing software solutions in diverse client environments
  • Experience with e-learning course management technology, preferably Blackboard Learn and Genius SIS solution
  • Demonstrable knowledge of global higher education, corporate and/or government markets
  • Strong project management skills, and a proven ability to handle multiple client engagements simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a geographically distributed virtual team environment and to build relationships with internal and external organizations
  • Dynamic, creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

 

 

Preferred skills/qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in related field (e.g. education, information technology, business)
  • Previous experience in the education, corporate or government industries and e-learning technologies
  • Background in content/knowledge management, digital asset management, as well as with education related technologies
  • Previous experience with Genius SIS or similar SIS solutions
